Mandy Kao is the COO and manager at Collective Oregon Eateries or CORE, a food cart pod on 82nd Ave in NE Portland, with a mission to elevate the collective eatery experience of food carts and food hall in Oregon.

Sarah, Founder, Owner & Maker

Sarah Zareen is the owner and maker of Ishq Skincare. Their mission is to make organic skincare simple, sustainable and accessible for everyone while supporting racial & social justice causes locally & globally. Their ingredients are either grown by Portland farmers or sourced from local Portland companies. As are their glass jars, which are also reusable & recyclable. 

Rachel, Founder, Owner & Instructor

Rachel Brooks is the owner and an instructor at Seeking Space Yoga and Yin Yoga Space. Both spaces are a judgement-free all welcoming studio focused on your health and relaxation through mindfulness and movement. Body positivity, gender and ethnic diversity is the baseline of their core existence and they seek to create a welcoming environment for everyone.

Mika Olin is the owner of and acupuncturist at Prefer Health. Rooted in the tradition and elegance of Chinese medicine, Prefer Health provides compassionate and inclusive health and aesthetic care for people looking to improve their physical and emotional health from the inside-out.

Kara, Founder, Owner & Licensed Esthetician

Kara O’Connor is the founder, owner and licensed esthetician at Bare Beauty, which specializes in all genders, full body waxing and brow & lash laminations. In 2016, Kara bought Bare Beauty with a vision to create a space where estheticians can use their voice to promote their unique craft, and clients simultaneously arrive accepted just as they are, with no judgment or expectations.

Shaina, ED & COO

Shaina Pomerantz is the executive director and operations officer of Race Talks, founded by her mother Donna Maxey in 2005. Through volunteer efforts and donations, the org has engaged 20,000+ participants in 1300+ facilitated conversations. Their platform has highlighted the work of 400+ BIPOC panelists and invites attendees to get involved. Through curated conversations, they are uniting to break the chains of racism. 

Nikeisah, Founder, Owner & Chef

Nikeisah Newton is the owner and Chef of Meals 4 Heels, the world’s only late-night meal delivery service that caters to sex workers and sex positive clientele. Serving delicious vegan/plant-based meals since 2019, Nikeisah has made waves in Portland, OR. This Black Queer woman-owned food cart and catering company, has been covered in news outlets around the world.

Kamelah (Mimi) Adams is the owner and COO of Mimi’s Fresh Tees, an apparel company promoting social justice and women’s empowerment. This Black woman-owned company based in Portland, OR encourages buyers to break the silence and start a dialogue by wearing their feelings on their chest.

Thuy Pham is the Chef and Owner of Mama Đút, a Vietnamese woman-owned vegan restaurant serving up ryb bao buns, fried mushroom banh mis, passionfruit limeade, and seasonal desserts in PDX. This 2022 James Beard nominee and star of Netflix’s Portland Street Food USA episode is also in the process of opening up a 2nd location on Alberta Street.

Morning Dove, Founder & Owner

Morning Dove Barranger is the creator and owner of Coral Story Beauty, a flourishing and only native woman-owned green beauty store in the heart of Portland. Passionate about highlighting green makeup and skincare products, Morning Dove researched her favorites to open her doors in 2018 and launched her own skincare line in 2022.

Kyikyi, Chef & Owner

Kyikyi is the founder, owner, and chef of Himalayan Dumplings By Kyikyi, which is the first woman-owned Tibetan food brand in the United States. Located in Portland, OR, Kyikyi launched ready-to-cook frozen Himalayan dumplings direct to consumer and opened a brick and mortar in 2023.

Terri Feury is the founder and owner of Uptown Hearth, which opened as a small bakery in Columbia Falls, ID in 2011. Terri later collaborated with other businesses in 2016 to expand the menu to now include baked goods, breakfast, brunch, and coffee drinks.
