Identifying & helping women-owned businesses thrive.

In Fall of 2020, Amanda Mailey set out to identify and meet the women leading small businesses in the Pacific Northwest. She used Instagram to document her findings and amplify the women behind the goods and services driving the local economy. Ultimately, she brought the faces, of the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs, to the forefront and began to build connections across the community.

Uniting Community

In 2020, women of color started 70% of all businesses in the United States. 259 Black women and 227 Latinx women open new businesses every single day. These are the same women who are paid only 65 cents and 59 cents on the white male dollar when working for someone else. As of 2019, there are nearly 6.5M women of color owned a business, while receiving less than 1% of VC funding.

After helping Fortune 50 companies find success for over a decade, Amanda is architecting new systems to promote growth in WOC owned small businesses. As an investor, mentor, community builder, storyteller and designer, Amanda partners with and unites brands wanting to better serve the BIPOC community. With her flexible pay-as-you-need model, clients (big and small brands) have an expert to lean on whenever the need arises.
